Having heard of the work of the Good Samaritan Church in Romania through my daughter Tish, I was keen to be involved with Heart Response from the start. I visited the Romanian mission in 2014 where I had the pleasure of meeting the children from the orphanage and feeding programmes. I was also able to visit the local hospital and many of the widows that the church supports in their homes. It was a life changing experience for me, I was brought face to face with those living in desperate poverty, but was inspired by how such hope seems to live on in them in spite of their circumstances. I will never forget my time in Romania and am keen to continue to help these dear people through being on the Heart Response team.
